On August 28 a woman was dragged from her vehicle and raped in the car park of a John Lewis store. The attacker is described as man in his 40s, asian type, black hair, heavily pock-marked and open-pored skin on his face.

Despite the trauma the woman who was victim of the crime is working closely with the police. Det Insp Richard Ennis appealed for witnesses of the crime. The Police believe that the perpetrator may have been waiting in the area before the assault.

On the picture from the security camera a person is walking accross the John Lewis overflow car park at approximately the same time the offence took place. Officers are now hoping to speak to the person in the image or anyone that may have seen a man fitting the description.
